Happy Oshogatsu 2008
"Oshogatsu" is a new year.
Hi. I decided to blog about my home town, Meguro, Tokyo. "Me" means "eyes" and "guro(kuro)" is "black". In Tokyo, there are 5 "Fudo" buddhist temple. Each temple has different "Fudo" god with different colors of their eyes. In Meguro, the Fudo god has black eyes.
Some people might know "Mejiro" as one of the train stations of Yamanote-line. They have Fudo temple with white eyes. There should be "blue/red/yellow" fudo temple in Tokyo, however, I dIdn't know where they are. (I just looked them up in Wiki)
